Promoting Menstrual Health at St. Kizito Primary School

Focus: Menstrual health, hygiene and ending menstrual stigma

The outreach combined menstrual-health education, practical guidance and sanitary-pad distribution to help girls manage menstruation safely, confidently and with dignity.

On 20 February 2026, Odyssey Foundation Uganda conducted a sanitary-pads outreach at St. Kizito Primary School, Tikalu.

The activity focused on menstrual health, hygiene and ending menstrual stigma. A total of 30 girls were reached.

Activities included a menstrual-health talk, an interactive question-and-answer session, sanitary-pad distribution, practical demonstrations and teacher engagement.

Together with the Lubugumu UMEA outreach, the two sanitary-pad initiatives reached a combined total of 55 girls.

Reaching Out with Love: The Jinja Outreach Series

Theme: “Reaching Out with Love”

Odyssey Foundation Uganda visited Kitanaba Village twice under one shared theme, extending care and community support through its early outreach work in Jinja District.

Odyssey Foundation Uganda carried out two related outreach visits in Kitanaba Village, Buwenge, Jinja District.

The first visit took place on 29 September 2023, followed by the second visit on 11 December 2023.

Both activities were conducted under the theme “Reaching Out with Love.”

Because the two visits shared the same location, theme and photo collection, they are presented together as one outreach series.
